Re-Exploring the Language of Loss
A Monthly Session from the Make Meaning Workshop
Alexandra Vassilaros is offering this once-a-month session
specifically for former participants of the Make Meaning Workshop
or one-on-one clients to continue the practice of meaning-making
through writing, reading and deep listening.
During each session we will be exploring language around loss in
order to revitalize the often numbing experience that common
language around grief and loss can engender. MMW invites
participants to discover more about themselves and their life-
changing experiences on paper as they nourish their capacity to
grow with grief, not just suffer from it.
• During this monthly session, we simply write, read and listen to one another.
• Deep listening is a potent aspect of this work, allowing us to listen from a spacious, receptive place within ourselves. It is a practice that cultivates connection and presence.
• Curated writing prompts are provided as creative catalysts to engage our deeper self so that we may become more curious and compassionate with ourselves and others.
• There is no criticism, interruption, or commentary from participants.
• This will be a deeply kind 90-minute exploration. No fear or apprehension necessary.
• Absolutely no writing experience is necessary to participate.
• First Tuesday of every month - $25 ticket price

This October, we will re-exploring the language of loss through the theme of resilience.
RESILIENCE doesn’t ask us to forget, but encourages us to carry the memory of whatever loss, grief or fire we’ve been through and intentionally live a life with authenticity, hope and connection in mind.
Absolutely no writing experience is necessary to participate.
